PURPOSE:To obtain flicker-type lighting only with a general inductance element as a ballast by applying current which mutually differs in a phase depending upon a three-phase power supply, to a discharger. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase power terminals U, V, and W are connected to the electrodes u, v, and w of a discharge lamp 2 through inductance elements CH1, CH2, and CH3, respectively. The discharge lamp L has also a Y-shaped structure, and lights by connecting the terminals U, V, and W to each phase output end of the secondary winding of a three-phase power transformer T. |
