PURPOSE:To eliminate the incomplete combustion by forming the cylinder wall and the upper face of piston with sintered member having low heat conductivity thereby forming a heat insulation area and eliminating the low temperature area. CONSTITUTION:The inner wall 5 of a cylinder head 1, the inner wall 6 of a cylinder 2 and the upper face of a piston 3 are formed with sintered member 8. Said sintered member 8 is composed of sintered alumina, sintered spinel, sintered zircon, sintered thoria or cermet material having low heat conductivity and heat capacity, heat shock resistance and high fire-proof performance. |
