<p>PURPOSE:Titled adhesive base having a low peeling strength and an excellent remanent adhesive strength, and being useful for labels or stickers, prepared by providing a silicone type adhesive layer and a specified moisture-containing covering layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A silicone type adhesive is obtained by condensing or polyadding 30-70wt% polysiloxane represented by the formula, wherein R' is H or a monovalent hydrocarbon group and (n) is a positive integer, (both ends of the molecule of said polysiloxane are blocked with OH groups and said polysiloxane has a viscosity at 25 deg.C of at least 100,000cs) with 70-30wt% copolymer consisting of units represented by R3''SiO0.5, wherein R'' is a monovalent hydrocarbon group and SiO2 units (R3''SiO0.5/SiO2=0.4-1.50). Next, said adhesive is applied to one or both of the surfaces of a substrate 1 such as Al, glass or paper to form an adhesive layer 2, and the surface of this adhesive layer 2 is covered with a moisture-containing covering layer such as paper, cotton or rayon, each having a moisture content of above 10%. Then, the assemblage is stored in a sealed container or in water to prevent the evaporation of moisture.</p> |
