PURPOSE:To obtain a dry copy by providing a device which has rollers for maintaining a gap between the surface of a movable photoreceptor such as a photosensitive drum and a roller for removing the excess developing soln. on said photoreceptor constant and revolves the roller in a direction opposite from the moving direction of the surface of the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:At the time of charging 12 and exposing a photosensitive drum 11, developing the electrostatic latent image by feeding the developing soln. from a pump 21 with a developing device 14 then removing the excess developing soln. with a removing device 15, the removing device 15 is provided with the rollers 26, 27 consisting of bearings of insulation characteristic at both end parts of a roller 24, freely rotatively and coaxially to shafts 28, 29 and is supported freely rotatively by bearings 30, 31. The bearings 30, 31 are supported by supporting plates 32, 33 freely forward and backward movably with respect to the drum 11, and are pressed to the photoreceptor 11 by means of springs 34, 35. The rollers 26, 27 are provided 0.01-1mm. larger in radius than the roller 24. The roller 24 is driven via sprockets 36, 37 and a chain 38 by a variable speed motor 39 so it is revolved reverse from the moving direction of the photosensitive drum 11 surface. In this way, the excess developing soln. is sufficiently removed without spoiling the toner image. |
