PURPOSE:To eliminate the deviation in images by constituting the optical device of a cylindrical lens having imaging power only in the main scanning direction and a cylindrical lens having imaging power in the subscanning direction in correspondence to individual image sensors. CONSTITUTION:An original picture image is formed, in a subscanning direction, that is, original moving direction, by one cylindrical lens 4 used for two image sensors 3, 3' in common, and in a main scanning direction, by the cylindrical lenses 5, 5' provided in correspondence to the respective image sensors 3, 3'. In this device, what part of the subscanning direction of the original picture image is made incident to the image sensors 3, 3' is determined by the slit 6 provided just before the image sensors 3, 3', and even if the image sensors 3, 3' deviate more or less vertically, there is no effect at all. |
