PURPOSE:To eliminate the cross-color disturbance and thus obtain a high-quality color picture, by constituting a process circuit with a comb-shaped filter using a delay circuit which separtates and delivers the luminance signal or the carrier chrominace signal plus a level expanding circuit which gives the level expansion property. CONSTITUTION:The color video signal supplied from the input terminal 1 is supplied to the 1H-delay circuit 2, and the carrier chrominance signal is extracted out of the output of the circuit 2 and by the subtractor circuit 3. Then the carrier chrominance signal of a prescribed frequency is delivered from the band pass filter 9 using a comb-shaped filter. At the same time, the luminance signal of a prescribed frequency is delivered from the band pass filter 13 using a comb-shaped filter. The outputs of the filters 9 and 16 are applied to the level expanders 10 and 14 respectively with te level expansion property given. Thus the carrier chrominance signal with the cross-color disturbance eliminated is delivered from the output terminal 11 of the expander 10. The output of the expander 14 is applid to the adder 15 to be added by the output of the band blocking filter 12. Thus the carrier chrominance signal of a prescribed frequency is eliminated to deliver the luminance signal. |
