PURPOSE:To manufacture a magnet having excellent magnetic isotropy by putting a substance to be treated into a shield box to be shielded. CONSTITUTION:In the process of isothermal treatment of a spinodal decomposition type permanent magnet whose main constituents are elements of Fe, Cr and Co after the solution treatment thereof, the permanent magnet to be treated is put into the magnetic shield box so that the magnetic anisotropy thereof is reduced to be very little, and is subjected to heat treatment. As the shielding material therefor are used, for instance, pure iron, silicon steel, Co-Fe steel and the like. By this method, the magnetic alloy which is extremely homogeneous and has excellent magnetic isotropy can be obtained. |
