<p>The container for dispensing lengths of sterile wound dressing material contains a reel on which is wound a substantial length of the material so that it can be used on camping sites, shops etc. The cylindrical outer casing (1) contains an inner casing (5) which can be rotated inside, and is combined with a cutting blade (3). The inner casing has a slot with an adjacent projecting rib (9) which moves past a similar rib (8) projecting inwards towards it from the outer casing. The material is discharged between them to a dispensing opening (4) along the outer casing. The cutting blade is attached to a sliding knob (2) level with this opening, so that a section can be cut off.</p> |
