The hair-dressing scissors permits simultaneous tapering and cutting of hair, using two pairs of blades (1,2) with a common fulcrum pin (3) and hand levers (5). Each lever (5) provides a finger ring (4), forking into two before fulcrum (3) to accommodate two separate superimposed blades (1,2). The two double bladed sections house one into the other to be secured by pin, each blade combining with a counter blade to form two sets (1,1&2,2) for tapering and cutting. A gap of not less than 5mm may be provided between the two sets (1,1&2,2).
