<p>The device for gripping sheets or pages by their edges so as to support them, uses telescopic tubes (1) which can be extended to match the length of the sheets, which can then be gripped in the ring between them. Plugs are inserted into the smaller ends of the end tubes, and a resilient band is fitted around those ends to hold them together. The band is removed for easy insertion of the sheets, then the band is fitted on again. The large ends of the tubes at the other end fit into a cylindrical case (6). Two or three tubes can be used with telescopic spacer blocks (7) with concave faces (8,9) to match the outsides of the tubes, in various combinations. A single tube can be used with a crescent shaped spacer.</p> |
