Insulative spiral wrapping for elongate conductor - has length of adhesive tape wrapped round core with sticky side out and length of non-sticky tape wound over it

An adhesive tape with one adhesive surface is applied to the surface of an elongated core along its length with its adhesive surface facing outwards. Tape wrapping is spirally wrapped around the core and the tape so that each turn of the tape wrapping contacts the adhesive surface. The adhesive tape secures the tape wrapping in its spiral form with respect to the elongate core so that the conductor is covered with an insulative spiral wrapping that is flexible and will not break or expose the conductor when the conductor is bent.
