<p>The valve for progressive feed of air tools and their immediate shut off has a compressed air inlet (2) connected via a tube (42) to a pilot valve (44) above the upper piston (24). This isolates the air exhaust port (40). Air passes through a jet (28) and ball valve (34,35,36) into the air feed port (3) progressively feeding the tool. At full line pressure, the lower valve (16,17) opens, connecting the inlet port (2) directly to the feed port (3). Rapid shut off is achieved by closing the feed line (2), which closes the lower valve (16,17) and connects the feed port (3) directly to the exhaust port (41).</p> |
