Stretch wrapping articles in plastics film - by expanding a concertina-like film and allowing it to shrink back onto the articles

Articles are stretch wrapped by concertinaing a tubular film over a framework, expanding the framework, and passing the articles through the framework whilst allowing the film to progressively leave the framework and snap onto the articles. The tubular film may be open at each end or may be closed at one end. In a preferred embodiment, a closed ended film is concertinaed over a frame and the frame expanded and the articles pushed into the frame to progressively draw the film from the frame onto the articles. The articles are shrink wrapped in a simple, cheap manner.
