A slab forming a beam segment is attachable to adjacent slabs on both sides, and to the concrete shell with a suspension device with connections inside the beam in the slab ends area, in a reinforced concrete unit serving as lost formwork for horizontal ring beams on cooling-towers. Each attachment on the unit consists of a loop, protruding upwards from a bracket monolithically joined to the slab (19) on the tower shell side, and fastened to bracket reinforcement. The loop is clampable at the protruding end of an anchor (4) cast or drilled into the shell.
