PURPOSE:To remove the effect of the reflected waves from sea bottom by controlling the number of vibrating elements and the phase angle to be applied to an inclination angle control signal as a function of time, and changing the central inclination angle of a reception beam. CONSTITUTION:A reception beam is inputted from a vibrator group 1 via a preamplifier group 2 to one of a multiplier group 3, and the inclination angle of the center of the beam is determined by the sum total of the product of this signal and the control signals applied by an inclination angle control signal circuit 8. The beam in a perpendicular direction is controlled by n-lines of vibrator arrays and the beam in a horizontal direction is controlled as the line processing parts 6 gather in m- number. Next, the output signals of the line processing parts 6 are phase-matched in a phase shift circuit 7, so that the rotating beam of a high speed is formed and this is displayed in a display device 10 via an amplifier 9. |
