<p>In a P-deficient or -free detergent and/or wetting agent compsn. consisting of tenside, builder and opt. standard detergent auxiliaries, the builder contains a water-soluble salt, (II), of bi- or polyvalent cations in addn. to a polycarboxylic acid, (I), or deriv. contg. no N in anion, at least 3 COOH gps. and 3-6C in chain or ring. The builder pref. contains by wt. 5-85% (I) and 1-15% (II). The compsns. contain esp. 10-30% tenside, balance builder and opt. auxiliaries. The pref.content of (I) is 18-40 wt. %. (I) can be tetrahydrofuran-tetracarboxylic-, citric, benzene- tetracarboxylic-, benzene-hexacarboxylic-, polyacrylic- and/or cyclopentane-tetracarboxylic acid (prefd.), opt. as their Na-, K- and/or ammonium salts. The compsns. are used esp. for washing synthetic fibre textiles, esp. at pH 7.5-12. Compsn. wetting power exceeds that of phosphate- contg. compsns. (I) and (II) act synergetically to increase compsn. washing power both in prim. and sec. washing.</p> |
