PURPOSE:To make the automatic transaction device multifunctional, by accepting the transaction medium storing managed materials other than bank notes and by detecting prescribed features of the transaction medium and by returning the transaction medium from the acceptance hole when prescribed features are not detected. CONSTITUTION:The first acceptance hole 3 from which bank notes for money receipt are received collectively and the second acceptance hole 11 from which the transaction medium storing bank notes or managed materials other than bank notes is received are provided in the operation part of the currency automatic transaction device. This transaction medium is carried to carrying system 51 and is checked by medium checker 67 arranged on the way of carrying system 51, and the transaction medium is checked for predetermined prescribed features. If it is not provided with predetermined features as the result of check, the transaction medium is returned to acceptance hole 11 by carrying system 51. The storing room which stores the transaction medium is used as collecting room 48 where bank notes other than the count check object of receipt and payment bank notes are stored, and the transaction medium provided with features is stored there. |
