PURPOSE:To reduce the probability of occurrence of a turn page failure, by performing separating operation again when it is detected that a form is not set to a prescribed state in the course of turn page operation. CONSTITUTION:When backbook 100 is set in a prescribed position for turn page, pressure 158 presses bankbook 100 to turning roller 160. Simultaneously, the timer starts counting, and sheets of paper 103 of the bankbook are curved by rotation of roller 160. If light shield plate 162a of open guide 162 is not detected even when the timer is time-over, rotation of roller 160 is stopped to increase contents of the rotaion counter by +1. If contents of the counter are prescribed value N or less, pressure 158 is pressed again to rotate roller 160. If light shield plate 162a is not detected also even when the timer is time-over, contents of the rotation counter are increased by +1; and when contents of the counter become N, the error processing is performed to stop the turn page operation for the bankbook. |
