PURPOSE:To make operation simple and easy by automatically determining the positions of a lens and the position relation of a material setting part by a series of steps incorporated into a computer. CONSTITUTION:First, an operator sets the position of a lens 2 by using an operating element in such a manner as to assume a predetermined magnification. A potentiometer 5 relating to the lens 2 operates to measure the distance (a) of the lens 2, and the measured distance is inputted to an operator 10, by which an operated value (b0) is obtained. With a potentiometer 6 relating to a setting surface 3, the distance (b) up to the position where the setting surface 3 exists is measured and is inputted to the operator 10, by which the measured value (b) inputted and the operated value (b0) are compared. This causes a motor 7 to be operated, by which the setting surface 3 is moved upward and down, so that the measured value (b) changes continuously in a manner as to decrease the difference between (b) and (b0). The above are carried out repeatedly, and when (b) and (b0) become equal in the final, a stable state is established and the device is standing by. With such constitution and method, the operations of positioning the lens and the material setting part may be made simple and easy. |
