摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the correcting circuit, by operating the output of the sine wave generator and the analogue measuring signal to obtain a square root signal and by processing this signal to perform the practical trigonometric function operation. CONSTITUTION:Sampling pulse 18 and X axis measuing signal 14 are applied to X axis sample holding circuit 16 to obtain movement quantity DELTAx of the contact needle for obtaining the length and the form of the object to be measured. Similarly, movement quantity DELTAy of the Y axis is obtained by Y axis sample holding circuit 22. These movement quantities DELTAx and DELTAy and sine wave and cosine wave signals of trigonometric function signal generator 26 are operation in 32 to obtain a square root signal, and errors epsilonx and epsilony between the center of the contact stylus and the actual contact point to the object to be measured are obtained in dividers 50 and 52 on the basis of rDELTAx and rDELTAy, which are operated from radius signal (r) of the contact needle by multipliers 46 and 48, and the square root signal, and the measurement error of the contact needle is corrected in 58 and 60.
