<p>The tool for making a preliminary mark for the point of a screw for a door fitting, enables a critical part of the operation to be carried out with one hand. This enables the other hand to be used to support the weight of the door. The tool has a tube with one end chamfered so that it can be centred in the countersunk screw hole of the door fitting, with a pointed spindle guided inside. The tool also has a spiral spring inside and carries a rubber bellows, the spindle has a groove, and the tube has a guide recess. The tube can have a chamfer at each end.</p> |
