<p>PURPOSE:To enable the loading of all kinds of cassettes by driving a cassette holder to a 1st loading position at the loading time of a large or medium cassette and driving it to a 2nd position at the loading time of the adaptor incorporating a small cassette. CONSTITUTION:The cassette adaptor 13 equipped with a small cassette 12 holding mechanisms 13a-13e and small cassette reels 17a, 17b driving force transmission mechanisms 18a, b-20a, b, a cassette holder 27 capable of loading this adaptor 13, the detection means 28, 42-44 detecting whether which of large, medium cassettes 10, 11 and the adaptor 13 is inserted or not and the reel base moving mechanism holding the reel bases 32a, 32b of the main body by moving them to large and medium cassette reels positions 41a, 41b or the adaptor driving position based on this detection signal are provided inside the box body slightly thicker than the large cassette 10. The small cassette 12 can easily be loaded even on the VTR for a large cassette equipped with a large caliber reel motor by loading the small cassette 12 inside the plural kinds of tape cassettes in the same thickness and different sizes without approaching the reel base to the small cassette reel position by using the adaptor slightly thicker than the large cassette 10.</p> |
