<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a gap-free transition in an ensured way by providing a second step portion transiting to the radial height of the side band aperture at the aperture end located opposite a first step portion in the overlapped outer band portion area. CONSTITUTION: A tongue 61 is provided at the free end of an inner band portion 11b. The inner band portion 11b is engaged into an aperture 63 formed in a corresponding position in the outer band portion 11a. A step 67 is provided to make the clamp band 11 stretch outwardly. The aperture 63 starts in the area of this step and extends in the circumferential direction of the clamp band 11 to the extent that the total length of the tongue 61 can be received therein when an ear 13 is deformed to shrink. The inner band portion 11b extends continuously in the circumferential direction so as to cover the opening existing under the ear 13.</p> |
