PURPOSE:To prevent pollution of the surface of the slit pattern, by fitting the cleaning material, which is driven by wind pressure, to the detecting material which read marks on the slit pattern. CONSTITUTION:Detecting material 1 is moved on slit pattern 2 together with the read and the recording head according to movement of the carrier in the main scanning direction. Slit mark 4 is read by detecting material 1 and is used to determine the recording position of the picture signal. In detecting material 1, wing 6 and cleaning element 7 are fitted to shaft 5 rotatably. Since wing 6 receives wind pressure to turn when detecting material 1 is moved, the surface of pattern 2 is cleaned without a special driving device of the cleaning material during movement of detecting material 1 to the left. |
