PURPOSE:To make the watch small-size and low-cost, by making the temperature sensor part and the logic high and low speed part into an IC and by providing this IC in the same chip as the IC for watch. CONSTITUTION:The ambient temperature is detected by temperature detecting circuit 106 consisting of two or more kinds of integrated resistance different in temperature coefficient which is provided in the same chip as the IC for watch, and the detected temperature is converted to a digital signal. The digital signal from temperature detecting circuit 106 is input to operating device 107 together with information concerning the temperature characteristic of the quartz oscillator stored in storage device 108, and the degree of correction is calculated. Further, information of the degree of correction is sent to CTV 105 to adjust the frequency division ratio of frequency divider 102 which divides the output of oscillator 101. |
