PURPOSE:To enable easy replacement of a head without stopping rotation of a screw by multiplying and making variable the head of the extruder and by providing a means capable of making the extruding screw move backward in the axial direction when the head is replaced. CONSTITUTION:In the extruding-coating machine manufacturing coated electric wires with different diameters through extrusion by one extruder, a number of heads 7 and 8 are provided at the tip of the extruder, e.g. on the rotary disc 9 thereof, while a hydraulic cylinder 10 for moving the extruding screw 2 in the axial direction is provided at the base part of the screw. When the screw 2 is moved backward at the time of replacement of the head, the pressure inside the cylinder 1 lowers, thereby the replacement of the head (rotation of the disc 9) is made easy and, concurrently, the stoppage of the rotation of the screw 2 turns unnecessary. |
