PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductor suitable for obtaining an economical superconductive wire well in its superconductivity by providing a conductive layer of rare metal for preventing oxidization of ceramic high temperature superconducting material between the material and a conductor used for stabilizing the material. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizing material 1 comprises a pipe made of Cu or Al while an oxydization preventing material 3 comprises Ag-made pipe. The material 3 is applied on the inner circumferential surface of the material 1, and powder of ceramic high temperature superconducting substance 2 is filled therein, and then it is drawn by a dice 4 in a wire form 5. It is thus used for a superconductive wire after being dried. The material 1 is separated from the substance 2 by means of the layer of the material 3 so that effectiveness for preventing oxygen in the substance from being taken by the material 1 is given at the time of heat process. It is therefore possible to prevent the material 1 from taking the oxygen out thereof at the heat process after the wire drawing work is carried out, and furthermore to provide a superconducting wire of ceramic high temperature superconducting substance using a conductor excellent for stabilization. |
