PURPOSE:To lower the cost price by providing spinel-type oxide layers at lead terminals of an Fe-Ni alloy and on one side of an eyelet. CONSTITUTION:The eyelet 1 and the lead terminals 2 are formed using the Fe-Ni alloy (Ni of 42%) and applied a Co-plating to about 4mum thick. Then, those are heat-treated at 1,000 deg.C for 30min in N2 to diffuse the Co to the extent of 8mum in depth in an Fe-Ni base body. Subsequently, with the treatment at 700 deg.C in O2, an Fe2CoO4 layers 3 can be obtained. The stem, lead terminals and BSG4 etc. are assembled as a jig and heated to effect deposition of the eyelet and lead terminals in the glass. With this construction, the stem can be manufactured in a lower price than a covare. |
