PURPOSE:To carry out the squeezing operation of unrefined soy, smoothly and rapidly, by the program control of two sets of pressing means wherein one set is for the control of pressure and the other set is for keeping the level of pressing plate. CONSTITUTION:A pile of filter cloth is placed in a press 1, and pressed with a pressing plate 5 furnished with cylinders 3 and 4 to squeeze out the raw soy sauce. The pressure of the cylinder is controlled by the control valves 6 and 7 ane detected with detectors 3a and 4a, and the position of the pressing plate 5 is detected with detectors 11 and 12. The pressure of the cylinder is compared with the ideal pressure curve 9, and the control valve 6 of the pressure control cylinder 3 is controlled by a computor A so as to attain the predetermined pressure. On the other hand, the position and the level of the pressing plate 5 are controlled by controlling the pressure of the cylinder 4 through the operation of the valve 7 by a computor B according to the data obtained by the detectors 11 and 12.
