The composition of combustible mixture supplied to an internal combustion engine is controlled by regulating means (12) which regulates the flow of at least one of the components of the mixture. The regulating means (12) is controlled by a differential pressure sensor (36), which monitors the pressure drop at a metering cross-section (24) of a fuel metering valve, which is controlled by an air flow responsive element (34) and which is incorporated in a fuel supply line (18) leading to an injection pump (17). When an increase occurs in the set pressure drop, the sensor (36) varies an opening (57) which adjusts the pressure in a chamber (14) of the regulating means (12) produced by a pump (58). <IMAGE> |
