PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains a cationic high-molecular-weight compound and a surfactant selected from anionic and amphoteric surfactants as effective components, thus less injuring hairs to give durable hair waves with high stability. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises (A) a cationic high-molecular- weight compound such as a cationic cellulose derivative, cationic starch, diallyl quaternary ammonium salt-acrylamide copolymer, quaternized polyvinylpyrrolidone derivative, preferably cationized cellulose and (B) a surfactant selected from anionic and amphoteric ones, preferably polyoxyalkyl ether sulfate ester salt or alkylam ine oxide, preferably in amounts of 0.01-5wt% of component A and 0.1- 20wt% of component B based on the total composition. |
