PURPOSE:To restrain generation of a noise electric wave and reduce a loss of ignition energy by forming at least the electrodes on one side of a rotor electrodes and a stationary electrode and at least a spark discharge part with a positive characteristic thermister. CONSTITUTION:A distributor is attached to an internal combustion engine not illustrated with the help of a housing 1 and a cam shaft 2. A rotor 5 consisting of an insulation body 4 having rotor electrode and an electrode 3 fixed, is attached on a cam shaft 2 interlocked to a crank shaft. In addition, a central terminal 7 is fastended at the center and a distribution capper 10 with plural pieces (the number corresponding to the number of cylinders) of stationary electrode 6 firmly attached in a circumferential direction. Charged/discharged currents can be reduced by forming at least the spark discharge part of the rotor electrode 3 or the stationary electrode 6 of a distributor with a positive characteristic thermister. Thus it is possible to significantly restrain a noise and reduce a loss of ignition energy. |
