PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material superior in color development property, image storge property, image resolution, image sharpness, etc., by adding a two-equivalent bis type yellow coupler having specified substituted groups at the active sites. CONSTITUTION:The proposed silver halide color photographic material is formed by adding 0.07-0.7mol, prepferably 0.1-0.4mol per mole of silver halide, two- equivalent bis type yellow coupler represented by formula I in which R1 is 4-8C tertiary alkyl; R2 is H, acylamim, carbamoyl alkyl, or to like; A is halogen, alkoxy, or alkyl; (n) is 0, 1, 2, or 3; X is a divalent group for combining 2 Q's; Q is represented by formula II, III, or IV, Z1 being a nonmetallic atomic group needed for forming a 5- or 6-membered ring together with the other group in formula II, Z2 likewise being a nonmetallic atomic group needed for forming an unsaturated 5- or 6-me mbered ring, and Z3 is a nonmetallic atomic group needed for forming an imidazole or triazole ring together with -N-group in formula IV. |
