NEW MATERIAL:Dialuminum salt of an N-[beta-(N'-acylamino)propionyl]histidine expressed by formula I (R is 1-6C alkyl, phenyl or 7-9C aralkyl). EXAMPLE:Dialuminum salt of N-[beta-(N'-acetylamino)propionyl]histidine. USE:A remedy for acute and chronic peptic ulcer with very low toxicity and high safety. PROCESS:An N-[beta-(N'-acylamino)propionyl]histidine of formula II is reacted with an aluminum alkoxide to give the compound of formula I.
