PASTE TYPE LEAD ELECTRODE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To improve capacity of high rate discharge and cycle life by providing unwoven or woven cloth inside a battery. CONSTITUTION:Unwoven or woven cloth 2 of such a size as surrounded with big rods is provided on a grid 1 composed of big rod 3 and small rod 4. Paste 5 is applied thereon and paste 5 is applied on the opposite side, too. It is suitable as fiber composing the unwoven or woven cloth that the diameter of the fiber is less than 50mum. Glass fiber is desirably used as the fiber. Capacity and life in high rate discharge can be improved by the construction.
