<p>PURPOSE:To simply perform processing within a short time, by making the part on the side of the condyle cuttable on the side of the diaphysis in matching relation to the cutting dimension of a patient and making the part on the side of the residual bone possible not only to insert in the medullary cavity of the residual bone of the patient but also to cut in matching relation to the dimension of the residual bone of the patient. CONSTITUTION:The part 10 on the side of the condyle having a sphere member 6, a neck member 7 and the connection part 10b of a stem part integrally formed thereto and pins 11 formed so as to have several kinds of thicknesses are prepared and the length La of the connection part 10b is determined in matching relation to the cutting length of the diaphysis of a patient to cut off an excessive part. Subsequently, the pin 11 having the thickness fitted to the diameter of the medullary cavity of the patient is selected and cut into the fitted length on the basis of the pin length Lb determined based on the residual length of the diaphysis part 4. A pin insert part 11a is inserted in an engaging hole 10a to be bonded thereto by welding, cooling fit or taper fit. By this method, processing can be performed within a short time in matching relation to the long bone cutting size of the patient and a long bone having high dimensional accuracy is obtained.</p> |
