<p>The fishing rod for night fishing contains a light source so that when supported while not being held by the angler, movement of the tip of the rod will indicate a bite. The rod consists of telescopic tube sections with a battery mounted in the butt end, and a lamp bulb mounted in the tip. The tip also has holes through it, so that light is projected outwards. The first section which incorporates the butt, is fitted with a cap and includes the switch. The last section, with the lamp bulb, has the bulb encased by a suitable waterproof sealing substance Joints between sections incorporate connections for the wires down the inside, between the battery and bulb.</p> |
