PRODUCTION OF FLAT TYPE ARMATURE

PURPOSE:To make an armature of high quality with an improved molding shrinkage and fluidity by employing a thermosetting resin containing specified effective components when at least an armature winding section is solidly molded with the thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:When at least an armature winding section is impregnated with a thermosetting resin and hardened solidly rigid, a resin is used having a alkenyl phenol-based copolymer such as polyvinyl phenol, an epoxy compound of 2 functionals or more and distearyl-4,5-epoxy cyclohexane-1,2-dicarbonate as effective component for the thermosetting resin. This lowers the molding shrinkage along with a greater fluidity thereby allowing sufficient addition of heat conductive substances such as silica thereto while lessening the deformation of the armature winding.
