PURPOSE:To protect a solar battery for supplying power to the loads including counter electromotive power via an inverter from the trouble of the inverter by connecting a diode in parallel so that the electromotive force of the battery may be obstructed. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery consisting of a plurality of cells connected in parallel and equipped with a DC reactor for example supplies power to a power source. A load 16 is connected to a system power source 14. A diode 18 is connected to the battery 10 in parallel so as to have the polarity illustrated. In normal operation, the current from the battery 10 flows only in the direction of arrow A into a separately excited inverter 12 and is converted into AC power, which is supplied to a system 14. When voltage polarity becomes opposite due to the commutation failure for example of the inverter 12, the current flowing in the battery rises so that the diode 18 prevents the terminal voltage of the battery from having opposite polarity. |
