<p>There is a flange (10) on one side of the drive motor which drives the high pressure pump for the cleaning fluid, the fan for the burner and a fuel pump supplying the burner. The flange serves as a housing for the high pressure pump which is driven directly by the extended motor shaft (4). The opposite side of the motor supports the fan (5,6) and the fuel pump (9) also set on the extended motor shaft (4,8) while the cold cleaning fluid supplied to the high pressure pump passes by the drive motor so as to absorb the heat from it to cool down the motor. A smaller motor can now be used without the need for a cooling fan resulting in a more compact unit.</p> |
