The guide post (1) is placed at each angle of the construction and rests between two plates (9) at the joint of two L shaped support plates (7). The latter are fixed to the wall or floor. The post is set up vertically using diagonal braces (3) which fix to the top of the post and to the outside of the support plates and can be altered in length by fasteners (4). Two horizontal string lines (11) are attached between adjacent posts by rectangular collars (2) which can be loosened to slide up or down the post to the required height.
