PURPOSE:To remove the leak oil compulsively to prevent the sticking thereof to a brake drum and the like by giving the function to shoke off the leak oil to a spacer put on an axle shaft. CONSTITUTION:The axle shaft 2 is installed rotatably inside the housing 7 by means of a bearing 6. To a flange 12 in the end part of the housing 7 is fixed a back plate 1 to which a brake is fitted. Between the plate 1 and the flange 12 is formed a discharge passage 8, which is communicated with the outside of a vehicle. Between the staged part 9 of the shaft 2 and the bearing 6, the spacer 10 rotating unitedly with the shaft 2 is put on the shaft 2, while a projected rim 16 is formed on the outer periphery of the spacer 10. Oil, which leaks from an oil seal 5, reaches the spacer 10 through the bearing 6 and, traveling along the inside surface 16a of the projected rim on the outer periphery by the centrifugal force of the spacer 10, is shaken off therefrom.
