PURPOSE:To improve the performance of an apparatus for applying magnetic-field treatment to the flow of gas, liquid or solid fuel by a permanent magnet type magnetic-field treating means, by controlling the temperature of permanent magnet to be lower than the Curie point through provision of a passage for cooling the permanent magnets. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic burner assembly comprises a magnet-field treating means 4 consisting of permanent magnets which is disposed between a burner 1 and a burner tile 3 together with a yoke 5. In the means 4, an air-cooling chamber 6 is formed between opposing permanent magnets and it is communicated to an air duct 2. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to cool the permanent magnets constituting the magnetic-field treating means 4 by the air flow supplied from the air duct 2. Further, the performance of the means 4 can be improved by eliminating the time lag required before the means 4 is rendered operative after installation of the same. |
