Fibre suspension sorting - uses a slitted sieve with structure slit arrangement

A mesh sieve with slits is used for cleaning fibre suspensions, with the longitudinal axes of the slits lying in the radial direction or not more than 60 deg from the radial direction. The sieve surface is divided into a number of arc segments by the arrangement of slits, with the slits being parallel to each other in each segment. The design gives a sieve for the effective sorting of the fibre suspension, which is cheap to mfr. and which does not become clogged in use.
