PURPOSE:To provide a titled surface treating agent which is used for degreasing plus rinsing and for preventing adhesion and color change in the annealing of members made of copper or copper alloy, by the addition of org. silicate compound to a petroleum solvent or a chlorine-contg. solvent. CONSTITUTION:A surface treating agent for members made of copper or copper alloy, is made by the addition of 0.05-1.0wt% org. silicate compound shown by a formula to a petroleum solvent such as thinner, or a solvent contg. chlorine such as trichloroethylene. Examples of the org. silicate compound shown by a formula are methylsilicate, ethylsilicate etc. Said surface treating agent is used for degreasing and rinsing of the surface particularly of said copper base member, and it is used for preventing adhesion and color change in annealing, in addition it has characteristics to protect the surface of members after annealing. |
