The wood surface polisher is particularly for profiles having a disc body with an abrasive strip round the periphery. The body (4) is of elastic material, particularly rubber, fitting coaxially on a supporting bush (1). Metal plates (3a,3b) on the bush on either side of the body, grip the latter between them. The bush can have a collar (1a) at one end and a thread (1b) at the other, onto which a clamping ring (2) screws. There are bosses (7) on the inside of the plates, engaging in holes (8) passing through the body.
