Dining table with adequate leg and arm room - has top of combined rectangular and circular design supported

The table top which is supported on the underneath by at least one leg has two straight edges (3, 4) set at right-angles to each other wherein the table edge (4) of one long side changes into a semi-circular table edge (5) which is then adjoined tangentially by a convex-concave edge (6) consisting of two quarter-circle sections (6', 6") which run tangentially into each other. The radius of each circle section is equal to the length of the straight narrow table edge. This unusual shaped table now provides adequate elbow room for each diner as well as easy access to food in the centre of the table whilst the overall room space is kept to a minimum.
