摘要 PURPOSE:To considerably improve corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance by plasma spraying Ti-Mo-base melt-spraying powder contg. 15-30% Mo on iron or steel surface. CONSTITUTION:Fine Mo powder and Ti powder are mixed in a manner that Mo is contained at 15-30wt%, and the mixture is granulated. The granules are sintered in a vacuum. This sintered Ti-Mo body is finely grained to 200-400 meshes and a Ti-Mo melt sprayed film is formed to about 0.3mm. thickness on the surface of iron or steel products by a plasma spraying method utilizing an Ar gas. The film has high corrosion resistance to nonoxidative strong acids such as sulfuric acids and hydrochloric acids and the iron and steel products having the surfaces superior in high- temp. hardness and abrasion resistance are produced at low cost.
