The cleaning equipment is intended for the piping of drink-dispensing equipment. It applies a mixture of water and bacterial deposit-loosening concentrate into the piping, while this is cut off from the barrels etc. and then drained off again after a sufficient time period has elapsed. Then the piping is flushed with fresh water before reconnection to the barrels. The equipment has a storage vessel filled with cleaning concentrate at its inlet to the water mains. From this the necessary quantity is dispensed via a metering unit to a mixer supplied with water from the mains. The mixture is forced by the water into the drink piping, which is connected to the equipment outlet side. The shutting off the water supply causes the mixture to remain in the drink piping for a given time period. When the water supply is resumed, the drink piping is then flushed out with clear water.
