摘要 <p>The grip has three gripping feet (1) fitted on the ends (7) of slidable arms (8). The gripping feet are rigidly fitted in seats on the ends (7) of the arms. The arms have slots (10) penetrated by a bolt part of a column (9) through the common point of intersection of the three slots. By this layout the mutual distances of the gripping feet (1) can be set in any pattern to suit the shape of the workpiece to be gripped. The adjusted pattern of the three (1) is fixed by tightening a nut (11). The column (9) has a bore (12) to accommodate an extractor by which the workpiece is stripped off the grip of the feet (1) once it has been transported to the required position.</p>
